Analytics¶
beacbeac tracks anonymous visitor interactions so you can see how your space is being used. In the app, this area is called Statistics.

Opening Statistics¶
From the Admin Dashboard, tap Statistics.
What you can see¶
- Time range — pick the window you want to look at (Last 7 days, last 30 days, etc.).
- Visitors — how many unique visitor sessions started in the range.
- Total views — how many times any story was opened in the range.
- Daily Views — a line chart of views over the range, so you can spot weekday/weekend patterns or post-opening spikes.
- Most Viewed Stories — your top stories, ranked by views, with a count next to each.
What counts as a "view"
A view is registered when a visitor opens a story's detail popup — either by walking up to its beacon or by tapping it in the story list. Walking past a beacon without opening the popup doesn't count.
Privacy¶
beacbeac analytics are anonymous. They record that a visit and views happened, not who the visitor was. There's no identifier tying a session to a specific person.
